Forum Rules

In order to proceed, you must agree with the following rules:

The Cronus Support Community is a group of like minded individuals who are here to learn everything about the world of Cronus, and to help their fellow community members. With that in mind, we ask that all members please follow these simple rules in order to create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.

Please remember that the Cronus Support Community is run by Cronus users. All scripts are written by the community and all support is given by the community. There are no paid staff members, all moderators are unpaid volunteers and members of the community, just like you, so treat everyone with respect - try to remember that no one owes you anything.

These are the Top 5 golden rules of the Cronus Community. These rules are rigorously enforced so failure to comply may cause your account to be suspended so please take these seriously as they are essential to a healthy, productive and safe community.
  • Post to the correct section. If you have a script request, post in the Script Request section. If you have a problem with the Black Ops 4 Jitter Master GamePack, post in the support topic for that gamepack. If you have a hardware problem with your Cronus, post in the Cronus Hardware Support section. If you have problem with your mouse, post in the Keyboard and Mouse Support section. I'm sure you're not simple or dim so you get the idea. Posting in the wrong section when they are all clearly labelled may get your account suspended because it causes a huge amount of work for the staff and only adds to confusion among any community member trying to find specific support.
  • The community is not an instant messaging system. You may get a response within minutes, or it may be days depending on your question and if it has already been answered in the manual or by a simple search (you'll find if that's the case many members won't respond - they like you to show you are willing to help yourself first, they don't like spoon feeding). This is a global community and members are from all over the world in multiple time zones. Complaining or bumping a post because it hasn't been answered quickly enough may get your account suspended.
  • Follow the guidelines on how to post a report for a Gamepack or Script. This rule is broken more than any other and causes more trouble than anything else in the community. We give these rules on every page of the community and in every section for a very good reason. If you ignore them it shows you're either A) not reading or researching - expecting to be spoon fed information without any effort on your part or B) You simply don't care about the rules of the community. There will be no warning for breaking this rule. An immediate 24 hour suspension followed by 7 days, 30 days and lifetime for repeat offenders. Click Here to read these very important guidelines.
  • Members write scripts for the community in their own free time. Do not demand scripts or have any expectations that you are entitled to have anyone write anything for you. Remember to be polite and courteous if making a script request and you may get what you ask for. Rude, obnoxious and impatient users will almost certainly not be helped by the community and risk having their account suspended.
  • DO NOT EVER PAY FOR SCRIPTS! All scripts here are free. Do not ask for payment or give payment to anyone for scripts. There is nothing in a paid script that isn't already available here. Practically all the popular paid scripts are posted to our GPC library for free anyway. If anyone tries to get you to pay or asks for a donation, inform a member of staff and that account will be dealt with accordingly.

These rules are just as important to maintain the safety and harmony of our community. Many of them are self explanatory but, much like Shampoo warning labels, we have to state the obvious.

  • Answers to many of the questions you may have can be found in the Manual, Guides Forum, FAQ, Troubleshooting Guide, YouTube Channel or from other posts on the message boards. Please use the search functions, at the top right of each page, to find your answers. If you are still having problems, feel free to post your question.
  • All posts must be made in English unless you are in a localized language sub forum. There are localized support forums for Spanish, French, German, Italian, French and Bulgarian.
  • If you receive help that solves your problem - please acknowledge that your issue has been resolved and be sure to thank the person who helped you (you can also click the "Thanks" button to show your appreciation). Hit and run posts are frowned upon.
  • No cross posting! Do not post the same topic in multiple forums. You only need to post once and make sure it is in the correct category.
  • No bumping! The act of posting simply to bump a post or topic is considered spamming. This also includes bumping very old threads for no reason (called "necro bumping" or "necroing") Note: Staff and regular members HATE this. It's a fast track way of getting ignored and/or suspended as it shows a complete disregard for a number of the rules on this page. Just don't do it.
  • There will be no use of profanity on our message boards. This will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate banning of your account.
  • When posting, please use proper grammar. Refrain from 'text-message' style substitutions of words like 'u' for 'you', and 'ur' for 'your'. This is a multi-national forum, and some of our non-english speaking members must use translation software which is confused by abbreviations. Most of our volunteer members are very busy helping as many people as they can, and a post that is hard to read will often be overlooked.
  • There will be no racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations. This will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate suspension.
  • There will be no posts meant to offend or hurt any other member, in a manner which is offensive or inflammatory. This includes flaming or instigating arguments.
  • Linking to hate, anti-Semitic, racist, pornography, warez, or other illegal sites is not permitted.
  • Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive and as detailed as possible. Offending accounts will be immediatley banned for life with IP's banned from the server.
  • Advertisements, of any sort, are not permitted. This includes member names and links to commercial sites in Signatures, or in posts.
  • Avatars must be in good taste. This means no vulgar or violent images, pornography, or profanity. Avatars that are found to be inappropriate will be removed at the discretion of the staff.
  • Member's display names can not be email addresses. This rule is in place to protect you from spam bots who will pick up your email address and spam you.
  • Members may have only one account on this forum. Multiple accounts will result in a permanent ban.
  • Posts may be edited or deleted for any reasons the forum staff deem reasonable.
  • All information and instructions given within these forums is to be used at your own risk. By following or using any of this information you give up the right to hold Collective Minds or liable for any damages.

Violation of any of these rules can lead to a suspension of a user from the community. We do not provide a warning system as we feel most folks are adult enough to understand the rules the first time (however first offenders are usually suspended for just 24 hours). The actual consequences will be determined by the Staff on a case by case basis.

When posting you agree that the administrators and the moderators of this forum has the right to modify, delete, edit or close any topic, signature, account, or profile data at any time that they see fit. If you are a new member your post is placed in a queue where it will be checked by forum staff for spam or inappropriate language. Complaining that your post doesn't show up immediatley only highlights you didn't reads these rules
