My friend had a CronusMAX but it doesn’t support any new controllers or Mouse & Keyboard without a PC. I was lucky to be invited to join Zen Beta program, and this bad boy supports every controller I have including the Astro C40, which feels amazing on Xbox One – fully wireless with a HyperX Cloud Revolver S headset too. But the real gold is Mouse support. I have a Logitech G502 and WOW. Using that with the FPS Master GamePack has changed my gaming life. Simply fantastic!

HERE’S A SELECTION OF THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT CRONUS ZEN.
There’s a lot of info, right? Zen has a huge number of features and you probably have some questions. So we put this FAQ together to help you with some fast answers.
What's the difference between Zen and Cronusmax?
Zen has been in development for over three years, so it’s safe to say that there are a huge number of differences in features and capabilities.

What Games does Zen work with?
ALMOST ALL OF THEM. Cronus Zen works as a controller. So, if the game accepts a controller, then Cronus Zen will work with that game.
If you are playing PlayStation5® games, then there are two different methods, depending on the game you are playing.

Is there any lag?
Zen features a new data transport engine that is currently used in another device we provided to Activision® and every professional team in the Call of Duty® League and World Championships. We have worked closely with some of the best eSports players in the world to make sure that this hardware is as seamless as if you were connected directly to the console.
Do CronusMAX scripts work?
Yes. Zen is fully backwards compatible with the CronusMAX 16bit script engine. However, there have been some major compiler upgrades which mean many public scripts in the library will need updating to 32bit, or you can use the 16bit compiler in the latest version of Zen Studio. You can also speak to the author of any script in the Cronus community and have them send you their latest version.
ARE HEADSETS SUPPORTED?
Yes! Both Xbox® X|S/One and PS5®/PS4® wired & wireless headsets are supported, and they can connect direct to your controller. We have even added support for CROSSOVER AUDIO so for example you can use your Xbox One Headset, connected to an Xbox One controller, connected to a PlayStation® 4 with no lag, which makes Cronus Zen the first device in the world to offer this unique feature.
Can the Zen be detected on Xbox Live or PlayStation Network?
When using third-party devices with any online gaming service, there is always a risk of the game developer limiting or blocking your account, so it’s impossible to offer any guarantees.
However, Cronus connects to your PC or game console using an original, licensed game controller. This allows you to use your preferred controller on any number of different consoles (example you can use an Xbox® Elite S2 controller on a PlayStation® 4, or a mouse and keyboard on an Xbox® Series X).
DOES CRONUS HAVE AIMBOT, CV, OR HACK THE GAME?
Cronus does not “hack” anything in the game, game console, PC, nor does it allow you to do anything that the game itself does not allow – such as PC hardcoded hacks that allow AimBot, walking through walls, God Mode etc., and the biggest cheat of them all, CV.
NOTE: It is absolutely impossible for Cronus to do any of these hacks; it is not how Cronus works. Unfortunately, the Cronus brand gets mixed in with this stuff.
Cronus simply mimics button, stick, touchpad, paddle, and trigger presses/movements using open-source scripts or ‘macros’ that allow you to connect any compatible controller, mouse & keyboard, or racing wheel to any supported console. This is especially attractive to those who have a $250 Astro® C40 controller and unable to use it on their new PlayStation® 5 or Xbox® Series X, or a $500 Logitech® G27 racing wheel which was blocked from being used on a PS4 or PS5. Using Cronus Zen allows you to use that wheel saving hundreds of dollars.
How many controllers can I use?
Cronus Zen has one controller output to your PC or console. However, you add 2 input devices – for example a Controller + Mouse, or a Controller + Keyboard are very powerful combinations. Imagine having a keypad with a different script or macro programmed to each key while using a controller. Most keypads have up to 35 keys. Think about it…..😁
